Insulator on Obrien Stand-off Bracket
Stand off Bracket on a woven wire fence.
The Stand-off Bracket is a useful insulator in that it can help save old aging fences as well as serve to provide an electrified wire around an existing barbed or woven wire perimeter fence. The offset legs simply wrap around either barbed or woven wire. The insulator is a double pinlock design that attaches to a spring steel bracket. This puts the hot wire about 10" to 12" from the existing fence. This will keep your livestock off the existing fence. These stand-off brackets can be installed from 40' to 50' apart or farther. They come in a box of 50. Note: we are converting from Stafix to O'Brien Stand Off Brackets. They are very similar in appearance and function.

WRP25, above, is a two piece round post insulator that fits round posts from 3/8" to 9/16" diameters. They do have enough slot to slide over a pigtail post should you require a second wire on your pigtail post. Some people use them over rebar posts for winter time use on frozen ground.
