Cut out switches provide a lot of options on your electric fence line. They offer assistance in finding shorts as well as the function of turning off a section of fence for maintenance or repairs. We would caution you however, to not turn all your fences off in areas "not in use" - during periods of rapid vegetation growth. During these periods you should leave the fence electrified to brown down the grass. Below is our line-up of good quality cut out switches. The knife (pivot) can be interchanged to cener or either end for a lot of different options such as single throw, double throw or two way. Has a rounded back to fit round profile posts with 4 screw attachment. Acceptable to use with the large energizers.

The TA40 Cut Out Switch has been around a long time and we sell a lot of them. This one is fashioned after the Pel switch. Very tough and durable design with user friendly features. Two wood screws are included. Stainless steel knife and contacts - with wingnut wire attachment terminals. The pivot point also has a spring that is adjustable to control the open close speed. Its a proven performer.
