The EGH black gate handle is a new one. It's somewhat of a cross between the TA251 and TA243 above, and at an economy price. This one will work great with the Bungy rope as it has the larger loop to connect to. The spring is similar to the TA243 above.

Another economy black gate handle. Its actually a pretty sturdy one. Used a lot with polywire gates or for a conductive end for polywire on a reel. Yes, the spring will stretch out on it if you over pull it. But, for the price it has many uses with electric fencing.

Electrified Bungy Rope is a product that we are pleased with. You can buy it by the foot or in a roll of 328'. It will stretch to 2-1/2 times its relaxed state. Buy the rope - pick out your favorite handle & actuator plate and you have a great gateway for much less than a kit price. We recommend about 12 to 14 foot of bungy rope for a 20 foot gate. It makes for a highly visible gateway. You can use the rope clamp below for hook up.

Gate Actuator Plates are used at gateways. The plates are energized, so when you attach the gate handle the gate wire is hot. The AP3 uses a 1/4-20 hex bolt with double nuts & washers for wire hookup. Has 3 holes for multiple gate handle hookup. The AP1 has a single gate hookup plate and utilizes a split bolt for energizing.

The Double Loop Actuator is a lag with an insulator. The gate handle hooks on one side and a split bolt energizes the other loop. This Actuator works with the Old Ironsides handle above. (split bolt not included)

GU100 Thickwall Insulated Wire is used for running under gateways as well as many other functions in electric fencing, including jumper wires, lead outs and in connecting ground rods, etc. We stock this exclusively and do not stock double insulated wire. We feel that the double insulated wire is overpriced. The GU series wire has an extra thick wall and if installed in water pipe or conduit it is better and actually more economical. If in waterpipe and there is a need to replace it later, it is an easy job to pull thru another wire without digging up the damaged one. We stock it in two roll lengths.
