OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION

Our objective is to make or choose high-quality products that fit the needs of our rotational grazier customers. We strive to provide easy access to these products through multiple channels, all at affordable prices, to improve their rotational grazing operations.

6 Principles of Soil Health

1. Know your land (Know the Contect)

Knowing the context of your land is the starting point of cultivating your grazing management plan. It's based on location, soil, climate, local vegetation and what supports your immediate ecosystem.

2. Let nature thrive (Do Not Disturb)

In nature, there is no mechanical or chemical disturbance and that's how it should be if you want to help develop healthy, lush paddocks for your livestock to graze.

3. Create natural growth (Cover and Build Surface Armor)

Developing diversity on your land isn't always easy, but once it's growing you keep it healthy until it's time for your livestock to rotate and begin the grazing - that keeps the cycle going.

4. Cultivate diversity (Mix It Up)

With the diversity of plants, microbes, insects and wildlife that flourishes, your livestock will continue the system that makes Mother Nature smile. Monocultures are not part of this method.

5. Healthy grass makes healthy livestock (Keep Living Roots in the Soil)

Forage planting and maintenance are vital. Trust the process - roots feed the soil microorganisms which in turn feed the plants. Animals consuming the forage also consume carbon, producing biomass carbon which is then sequestered by plant material

6. Let nature work its magic (Grow Healthy Animals and Soil Together)

Animals consuming the forage also consume carbon, producing biomass carbon then sequestered by plant material. Grazing is an essential component of soil health and livestock health.
