Cattle grazing managed grassland
Powerflex Grassroots Carbon

You get paid for the practice change. We help you build it.

Grassroots Carbon pays you for additional soil carbon. Additional means a documented change in how you graze — and that change is fence and water, to enable your management change.

Polybraid on a pigtail post

AMP grazing is a hardware problem first

More animals, smaller paddock, shorter stay, longer rest. Every word is a physical requirement:

  • Smaller paddockCross-fence you can move in an afternoon.
  • More animalsWater that keeps up with the herd.
  • Shorter stayGear that still works on move forty.
  • Longer restMore paddocks — each with a hot wire and a drink.
Practice 1

Subdivide — temporary cross-fence

The core AMP move: one hot strand on step-in posts, carried on a geared reel, so one person can split a paddock and roll it up again.

Keep it hot — energiser and grounding

Most failed AMP attempts aren’t fence failures, they’re grounding failures. Plan about three feet of ground rod per output joule.
