The Roy-L-Heat Calf Warmer is a hand-assembled, American-made warming box built to bring a chilled newborn calf back up to temperature. A thermostat-controlled heater circulates warm air around the calf to raise body temperature and dry it off. A rubber head boot lets the calf's head stay outside the box, so it breathes fresh air instead of the warm, damp air inside. Set it up in the barn or calving pasture before calving season starts.
Features
- Circulating Warm Air: A thermostat-controlled heater with a built-in fan warms and dries the calf.
- Head Boot for Fresh Air: The rubber head boot keeps the calf's head outside the box, so it breathes outside air rather than the warm, moist air inside.
- Thermostat and Overheat Protection: Set the dial and let the thermostat hold the box near 100°F. The heater shuts off if the internal temperature gets too high or airflow is blocked.
- Built-In Thermometer: Check the box temperature at a glance while the calf warms.
- Elevated Floor Grate: The mesh floor grate keeps the calf lifted 4" off the floor of the box.
- Moisture Vent: An attic vent lets moisture escape from the box.
- Easy to Clean: The heater enclosure and floor grate come out, so you can hose down and disinfect the box between calves.
- Everything in One Kit: Includes the calf box, floor grate, heater box assembly, thermometer and the mounting hardware.
- Two-Year Warranty: Defective parts are rebuilt or replaced within two years of purchase.
- Test It Early: Plug it in about a month before calving season so you know it's ready when you need it.
