Helix Wire Winding Jenny — Recover Old Fence Wire Standing Up, Not Bent Over It
Pulling out an old fence line is the job nobody volunteers for, and most of the misery is in the winding — hunched over a coil, hand-rolling wire that fights back the whole way. The Strainrite Helix Wire Winding Jenny winds vertically, so you stay upright through the job.
It straps to a fence post with a belt and ratchet system — pick a post on the line you're pulling out, strap it on, and wind. The spinning handle does the work, and the quick release rotor gets the finished coil off without a wrestle so the next one starts straight away.
The recovered coil is the other half of it: it fits a wire dispensing jenny for re-use, so old wire comes off one fence and goes back onto another instead of into a pile behind the shed.
