Protect Your Energizer from Lightning on the Fence Side — 12" Fence Charger Lightning Fuse
Lightning doesn't have to strike your energizer directly to destroy it — a strike anywhere on your fence line can send a surge back through the wire and take out your charger in an instant. The 12" Fence Charger Lightning Fuse installs inline between your energizer and the fence to intercept that surge before it reaches the unit, sacrificing the fuse instead of your energizer.
Designed for chargers rated 5 joules or larger. Install one fuse inline with the hot fence connection and a second inline with the ground fence if you run a ground fence alongside your hot fence. No fuse is needed between the charger and the ground stake. Includes 2 fuses per package.

Designed specifically for fence chargers rated 5 joules or larger — the right protection for high-output energizers that represent a significant investment.
Hot & Ground Fence Protection
Install inline with the hot fence connection and inline with the ground fence (if running a ground fence) for complete surge protection on both sides.
Inline Installation
Attaches inline between the charger and the fence — no complicated wiring or special tools required.
Sacrificial Protection
The fuse takes the surge so your energizer doesn't — replace the fuse after a strike instead of replacing the charger.
2 Fuses Per Package
Includes 2 fuses — one for the hot fence connection and one for the ground fence connection.
