Protect Your Fence Charger from Lightning Surges — EFL Fence Charger Lightning Diverter
The EFL Fence Charger Lightning Diverter — also called a lightning arrestor or surge protector — is designed to protect your electric fence charger from electrical surges caused by lightning strikes. A lightning strike anywhere on your fence line can send a destructive surge back through the wire to your energizer in an instant. The lightning diverter intercepts that surge and redirects it safely to ground before it reaches your charger.
Install it between your energizer and the fence line as part of a complete lightning protection system. Paired with proper grounding, it’s one of the most cost-effective ways to protect a significant investment in fence equipment from weather-related damage.
