The API Floating Stock Tank Heater De-Icer keeps a stock tank ice-free through the winter. This 1000-watt floating de-icer is thermostat controlled, with thermal feedback that protects it from overheating, and it is recommended for tanks of 70 to 100 gallons.

Ice-Free Through Winter: Keeps a stock tank free of ice all winter long.
Thermostat Control: Thermostatic control with thermal feedback protects the unit from overheating.
Floats on Top: The float is enclosed in a rugged plastic housing and will not sink over time.
Low-Water Safety: The stainless steel heating element sits above the thermostat for safety in low-water conditions.
Sized for 70-100 Gallons: Recommended for stock tanks holding 70 to 100 gallons of water.
6-Foot Cord: A 6-foot cord with a durable anti-rub protector.
Metal Guard for Non-Metallic Tanks: Using it in a non-metallic tank requires a metal guard to prevent fire danger (Model 88R, sold separately).
