When your fence design calls for wire on the back side of the T-post, the Backside T-Post 3" Insulator is the right tool for the job. The 3" extension positions your electric wire off the back face of the post, keeping it clear of the post flange and any adjacent fence structure to prevent shorts and maintain consistent voltage along the line.
This configuration is commonly used when adding an electric wire to the inside of an existing T-post fence—creating a psychological barrier on the livestock side without rebuilding the fence. It's also useful in multi-wire systems where backside wire placement is part of the fence design.
Built from UV-stabilized black polymer, these insulators hold up in all weather conditions without cracking or fading. Sold in bags of 25, they're ready to go wherever your fence line takes you.
