When you're moving fence every day, every second counts. The Gallagher Pig Tail Post is built for producers who need to set up and tear down portable fencing fast. The signature pigtail loop at the top grips polywire, polybraid, and polytape without any clips or separate insulators — just push it in, thread your wire, and move on. The bold orange color keeps livestock aware of the fence line and makes posts easy to spot across the pasture, even at a distance.
Lightweight enough to carry by the handful, tough enough to handle season after season of hard use. On level ground, space posts up to 50–75 feet apart. On hilly terrain, add posts as needed to keep wire height consistent and tension right.
