Most portable posts have one job: hold the wire up. The Hotpost Dura-Top Multiwire does something else — power redistributes through the spring steel shaft and clips, repowering broken wires from a parallel live wire.
That matters on a multi-wire temporary fence, where one broken strand normally means a dead section until someone walks the line and finds it. Here the live wire above or below carries power across through the post itself, so the fence stays hot while you're still getting round to the repair.
The Dura-Top head reduces tangling and eliminates wear — the failure that finishes most pigtail posts — and the hot-dipped galvanised pressed steel foot is Strainrite's own design for ground holding.
Features
Repowers Broken Wires: Power redistributes through the spring steel shaft and clips, repowering a broken wire from a parallel live wire.
Repositional Tangle-Free Spring Clips: Move the clips to whatever wire spacing the job needs; designed not to tangle.
Dura-Top Head: Reduces tangling and eliminates wear at the top of the post.
Hot-Dipped Galvanised Pressed Steel Foot: Uniquely designed foot for ground holding and corrosion resistance.
5 to a Pack: Sized for extending or repairing a temporary run.
