500 Crimp Sleeves for 10 Gauge Wire — The Bulk Pail
Running 10 gauge across a full perimeter means a lot of joins, and a bottle of 50 disappears fast. The Strainrite 3.15mm Crimp Sleeve in a pail of 500 is the bulk option — for use on 3.15mm (10 gauge) fencing wire and 1.6mm high-tensile barbed wire.
All regular Strainrite crimp sleeves carry a water-resistant grit adhesive for all-weather application. Crimped correctly, the join exceeds the breaking strain of the wire itself — the splice stops being the weak point in the run. Made in New Zealand.
How to Crimp It Properly
Crimp 4 to 5 times with a fencing tool to ensure a solid joint. Work from one end, overlapping each crimp — that's what eliminates shoulders and gets the full joint strength.
