When you need the strongest hi-tensile wire available, the 12.5 gauge, 200,000 PSI minimum is the top of the line. At 200,000 PSI tensile strength, this wire handles the most demanding permanent fence applications — large livestock, aggressive animals, long spans, and high-tension multi-strand systems where standard hi-tensile wire isn't enough.
The higher tensile strength means even greater spring memory, even longer post spacing, and even more resistance to permanent deformation from livestock pressure or wildlife impact. If you're building fence that has to hold for decades under serious load, this is the wire to start with.
