50 Crimp Sleeves for 9 Gauge Wire — Heavy-Gauge Joins for Smooth and HT Barbed
9 gauge is the heavy end of fence wire, and it needs a sleeve bored to match. Undersized sleeves won't seat over 4.00mm wire, and a sleeve that won't seat won't crimp. The Strainrite 9 Gauge Crimp Sleeves in a pottle of 50 are sized for 3.55mm to 4.00mm fencing wire, and for 2mm high-tensile barbed wire.
Every regular Strainrite crimp sleeve carries a water-resistant grit adhesive, so the join keeps its grip through wet and frozen conditions instead of working loose over a season. Crimped correctly, the connection exceeds the breaking strain of the wire itself — the splice stops being the weak point in your run.

9 Gauge Sizing
Bored for 3.55mm to 4.00mm (8-9 gauge) fencing wire and 2mm high-tensile barbed wire — the correct fit where 12.5 gauge sleeves are far too small.

Exceeds the Wire's Breaking Strain
A correctly seated crimp joint is stronger than the wire either side of it, so the splice is no longer the weak point in the run.
