Philmac Elbows

Philmac fittings are industry-standardized and provide the most reliable fit for your water systems to ensure optimal water flow and durability. Philmac elbows are used when needing to make a 90-degree turn. The Philmac standard elbow is used when working with HDPE to HDPE. You would use the female elbow if you were going from HDPE to and threaded fitting such as a quick coupler valve or to PVC.  You can add reducing bushings to the female elbows if you need to decrease size.

• There are 2 types of HDPE pipe: Inside control diameter (ASTM D2239) and Outside control diameter (ASTM D-3035)
• We only support outside control diameter HDPS pipe
• Philmac fittings we carry are made for the outside control diameter pipe
• 3G compression fittings are pressure rated to 230psi to meet the needs of the high control diameter pipe and high-pressure systems
