Most step-in posts are an afterthought. The Gallagher Ring Top Step-In Post is engineered for producers who move fence regularly and can't afford failures in the field. The unique nylon split-ring insulator mounted on top won't wear through over time — which means no unexpected shorts, no lost voltage, and no chasing livestock that figured out your fence went dead.
Lightweight enough to carry by the handful, these posts set up fast and come down faster. On level ground, space them 35–50 feet apart. On hilly terrain, add posts as needed to keep wire height and tension consistent.
