The Strainrite Mega Claw Insulator is Strainrite's high-performance wood post insulator, built with extended jaws. Where a conventional claw is sized for plain wire, the Mega Claw's wider jaws take coated sighter wire, poly rope and braid — the heavier conductors that won't seat properly in an ordinary claw.

Rounded surfaces shed water faster instead of holding it against the post, and the long-life UV stabilised plastic is what earns the 12-year guarantee. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand. Black, 25 to a pack.
