Steel T-posts conduct. Every wire touching one is a voltage leak, and enough of them will pull an energizer down to nothing. Strainrite T-Post Insulators hold the hot wire clear of the post on a pinlock fitting that snaps straight onto the post.

What sets these apart from a standard T-post clip is the second fixing: they snap onto steel T-posts and screw directly into timber. On a line that changes post type partway along — and most do — that's one insulator in the bag instead of two. Moulded from UV-stabilised heavy-duty plastic for a longer service life. Pack of 20.
